Marcus was part of Security Solutions a division of San-Even before that Division split off,  now a seperate company owned by John Florkowski, called JFI & Associates. He leaves a small child at home with one on the way, this is very sad..... The only thing left to say is:

We will miss you Marcus!!

WINTER HAVEN | A Winter Haven motorcyclist died this afternoon after crashing into a utility pole, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Marcus Devren Wesley Bartlett, 21,, of 360 24th St. N.W., Apt. 759, was riding south on 24th Street about 1:30 p.m. when he crashed into the pole at Avenue C N.W., the Sheriff’s Office said.

The 2004 Honda VTX 1300 cruiser continued through a wooden privacy fence, a yard and another wooden fence.

Bartlett wasn’t wearing a helmet and died at the scene, according to sheriff’s spokesman Scott Wilder.

Witnesses told investigators Bartlett appeared to lose control of his bike. It is not known how fast Bartlett was driving, Wilder said.

Dale Lovin, Owner Skimpy's Bar

It is always a difficult task when you are asked to write about a friend or loved one that has passed, and this time is no exception. On November 28th we here at southern sounds lost a friend and a business associate. Dale Lovin , owner of Skimpy’s bar in davenport Florida passed away. And while our friends passing brings grief we also know that he would not have wanted us to remember him as a sickly individual but one of good spirit and good humor. He would’ve rather we have a drink in his honor, than shed a tear on his behalf, would rather we sing comfortably numb, than dirges.

Dale’s was a place where everyone was welcome, no one was a stranger just a friend he hadn’t met yet. And it was a place that when you walked in the door you felt like you had been there all along, like going home. One of his favorite songs was I LOVE THIS BAR, and it really was a song about his bar, we had them all. Cowboys, hustlers, brokenhearted fools, and suckers. But all were welcome and all loved this bar. Dale made it a place where you could come and forget about what the world was doing to you, it was a place that as the song said, “just walking through the front door, puts a big smile on your face.”

So let us remember him in the manner in which he would have approved, raise your glass in a toast to our friend, and for the second home and family we were all part of.

Dale had many friends and we will all miss him.
